(Includes MeSH 2023 changes) The MeSH 2024 Update - Split Report lists terms that are replaced by a set of terms, either descriptors or SCRs, instead of a single term. This report includes MeSH changes from previous years, starting from 2023.
A computer algorithm that identifies similar protein 3-dimensional structures. Structure neighbors for every structure in MMDB are pre-computed and accessible via links on the MMDB Structure Summary pages.
The List of Serials Indexed for Online Users (LSIOU) provides bibliographic information for all journals whose articles were ever indexed over time with the MeSH® vocabulary and cited in MEDLINE®, the backbone of the NLM PubMed® database. It includes titles that ceased publication, changed titles, or are no longer indexed. More detailed bibliographic data and information about indexing coverage for serials cited in MEDLINE/PubMed can be found in LocatorPlus Catalog®, the NLM online catalog, and the NLM Catalog, an Entrez database.
Journal Article Tag Suite (JATS) is an application of NISO Z39.96.2019, which defines a set of XML elements and attributes for describing the textual and graphical content of journal articles and describes three article models.
(Includes MeSH 2023 changes) The MeSH 2024 Update - Merge Report describes cases where two or more terms have merged into a single term. The term(s) being merged into another term become(s) an Entry Term. Merges can be between Descriptors and Supplementary Concept Records (SCRs), between Descriptors, or between SCRs. There are two filtered views available. This report includes MeSH changes from previous years, starting from 2023.
MetaMap is a highly configurable application developed by the Lister Hill National Center for Biomedical Communications at the National Library of Medicine (NLM) to map biomedical text to the UMLS Metathesaurus or, equivalently, to identify Metathesaurus concepts referred to in English text. MetaMap employs a knowledge-intensive approach, natural-language processing (NLP), and computational-linguistic techniques, and is used worldwide in industry and academia. At NLM, MetaMap is one of the foundations of NLM's Medical Text Indexer (MTI), which is applied to both semiautomatic and fully automatic indexing of biomedical literature. Provides up-to-date, accurate, and easily accessed information on the diagnosis, cause, frequency, patterns, and management of liver injury attributable to prescription and nonprescription medications, herbals and dietary supplements.
PubChem contains the chemical structures of small organic molecules and information on their biological activities. PubChem includes substance information, compound structures, and bioactivity data in three primary databases, PCSubstance, PCCompound, and PCBioAssay, respectively. PubChem is integrated with Entrez, NCBI's primary search engine, and also provides compound neighboring, sub/superstructure, similarity structure, bioactivity data, and other searching features.
